Angelic raiment gives your character faint wings and a flaming holy avenger, the assasin set makes you translucent and all black, sweet stuff like that

#6 08-31-2008, 05:38:17 PM CDT Yeh, i agree ElFranger. Sets were awesome, no better feeling than looting a corpse only to find something green or gold colored. And then trying to complete the sets were just awesome, and really added something special to the game. Tal Rasha's Guardianship Lacquered Plate ftw!

And, after you kill a lesser or prime evil, it drops like 3 yellows and maybe a gold. I think that the drop rates should be reduced =/.

#9 09-01-2008, 08:45:54 PM CDT only if you had like un godly amount of MF, Some one like me didnt at all, so it was special to find a yellow or gold object, the drop rate should be the same, but with out the help of MF to help the player out

The majority of those drops were not as good as what you already had when you got there, though, or were more useful for other classes and builds. There was in no way too high a drop rate in Diablo II, and the really good items dropped very rarely.

I totally agree the good items you actually wanted had really Low Drop Rate thats why people had to do hours of MF runs with high MF to get good items, i mean shit has anyone ever had a tyrael's might drop for them??
