Non-refundable hotel reservations and plane tickets booked and no way into the show? Spent the entire Monday wearing down your F5 button into a fine paste and went home empty-handed? Anything goes. Make us feel sorry for you and the effort you invested and maybe you'll be rewarded with entry into the BlizzCon 2008 event.

Blizzard has graciously given us the opportunity to give 3 tickets away (value $100 each).

Media Update: 2 Screenshots & 3 Pieces of Concept Art

One of the art pieces has confirmed the existence of Ureh from 'The Kingdom of Shadow' novel. The others are unknown at this time, though one bears a striking resemblance to an Archangel with orange/fiery tendril-like wings... corrupted perhaps?

Blizzard at GC Developers Conference 2008

Posted August 14th, 2008 at 5:11:09 PM CDT by matt - 3 A reminder for our German fans, Blizzard will be at GCDC 2008 in Leipzig August 18-20 to discuss their current and upcoming games with you. From Bashiok's post there's a good chance of some new information coming out via interviews held with the press there so stay tuned - we'll keep you informed.

From what I gather I think I would equate it more to our presences at similar booth-style conventions, ComicCon and GenCon Indy in years past, for instance. We have a booth, usually some gaming stations set up, and we talk with people about the games and hold interviews. I fully expect some good interviews with Jay to come out of it, but I would more or less expect that to be the main focus of information coming out of the show regarding Diablo III.

Stop by and say hi though. I think I may be the only Blizzard person there with a goatee, so I should be easy to spot. I'm scheduled to be there every day to chat up fans about the game.

In other news, we will officially be reporting from BlizzCon 2008 in October! Make sure you check back here next Monday (the 18th of August) for something really cool.

Registration Issues Fixed
